Description

We have hardly begun to understand the short- and long-term physical, mental and emotional impact of COVID-19 and the reckoning with racial disparities employees are feeling. Traditional wellness programs, for all of their pledges to reduce absenteeism, lower healthcare costs, improve productivity and increase employee morale, have largely fallen short even prior to the disruption of the past 18 months. In order to deliver scalable and sustainable results, wellness programs must broaden their scope and infuse insights from brain science. UKG’s Jarik Conrad will offer insights on the current state of employee health and well-being, provide pitfalls to avoid that can sabotage well-being initiatives, and share best practices to help employees obtain a deeper appreciation and understanding of their own well-being.

Learning Objectives

-Understand the current state of health and wellness, globally
-Learn how organizations inadvertently sabotage their own wellness programs
-Understand the shift from telling employees what to do to maintain wellness to listening to what they want to do
